During the month of August, bring your community to the table

The Salvation Army, Ottawa Public Health, Loblaws, Parkdale Food Centre, and COBS Bread Barrhaven have partnered to create the second annual “Eat Together Ottawa” Campaign to encourage everyone to eat together and play together as a community, to overcome division and isolation, and build new connections of acceptance and hope.

Create your own “Eat Together” event by bringing your family, friends, neighbours and colleagues to the table to enjoy a meal and celebrate each other with an option to fundraise for a local food program.

Use the #eatTogetherOttawa hashtag to promote and celebrate your event on Twitter!

The goals of this Eat Together Ottawa Campaign are:

  1. To build on the PC #eattogether campaign by sponsoring a day when all of Ottawa is invited to plan their own eat together/play together event.
  2. To raise awareness about food security and isolation and their impact on physical and mental health.
  3. To raise funds for those in our community who do not have enough on their table.

Register your local event on our webpage for a chance to win $100 gift cards from Loblaws/PC, gift baskets of PC Products, or Bread-for-a-Year from COBS Bread Bakery.
