On August 26th, bring your community to the table

The Salvation Army, The Ottawa Food Bank, Ottawa Public Health, and Loblaws have partnered to create the first “Eat Together Ottawa” Campaign to encourage everyone to eat together and play together as a community to overcome division and isolation and build new connections of acceptance and hope.

Create your own “Eat Together” event by bringing your family, friends, neighbours and colleagues to the table to enjoy a meal and celebrate each other with an option to fundraise for a local food program.

The goals of this Eat Together Ottawa Campaign are:

  1. To build on the PC #eattogether campaign by sponsoring a day when all of Ottawa is invited to plan their own eat together/play together event.
  2. To raise awareness about food security and isolation and their impact on physical and mental health.
  3. To raise funds for those in our community who do not have enough on their table.
  4. To register 150 local events on our webpage for a chance to win a Chef/RD cooking class sponsored by Loblaws, College Square, one of three $100 gift cards from Loblaws/PC, or one of two gift baskets of PC Products.
